about
This piece is originally known as "If I only had a brain" from the movie The Wizard of OZ. I chose to sing this piece in efforts to wake up the sleeping giants a.k.a. the melanated beings who forgot right knowledge of self or who....don't have a brain. The Moors are the people who create the nations that contribute to all we know as civilization however the current state of the Moorish nation is a sleepy, dream-like state... So I sing this in the perspective of the shadow self that is ready to resurrect in all of us.
"I'd unravel every riddle, if I only had a brain!"
Dedicated to the one who consult the rain and confer with all the flowers...
lyrics
I could while away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consulting with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts are busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel ev'ry riddle
For every individdle
In trouble or in pain
With the thoughts I'd be thinkin'
I could be another "Kingman"
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle
I'd unravel every riddle
I'd unravel every riddle, if I only had a brain
I'd unravel every riddle
I'd unravel every riddle
If, if, if I only had a brain
I'd unravel every riddle
I'd unravel every riddle
I'd unravel every riddle, if I only had a brain
Oh, I could tell you why
The oceans near the shore
I could think of things I never thought before
And then I'd sit and think some more.
I would not be just a nuthin'
My head of full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a dig-a-derry
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle
For every individdle
In trouble or in pain
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I only had a brain...
